I plan fitness sessions outdoors or indoors using a mixture of core stability, cardiovascular, resistance and body weight exercises. I can also provide you with an online exercise plan if we are unable to meet in person.
Whatever your goal, I can devise a plan that will work for you. Fat loss and improved health demand commitment and I typically work with a 6 week plan as a minimum, however with dedication and hard work you should see results after only a few sessions. Improving your health is rewarding and enjoyable. I believe that making exercise an integral part of your day enables you to feel fitter as well as allowing you to stay focused and in control of your life and health. I always offer a nutritional therapy service to all my PT clients as I truly believe that when improving your health through exercise, one must also address diet.
I have worked with a range of different clients with varying requirements including ante & post natal, weight loss, marathon training and post injury
The first session is 1.5 hours long and it includes a free 30 minute consultation and a 1 hour personal training session.
During the consultation I will get to know you by discussing your exercise likes and dislikes and your goals. I will then work on an exercise and diet plan to help you to achieve your goals. I will then check your blood pressure, body fat percentage and waist measurements. You will then have your personal training session, where your fitness will be assessed to see what we need to work.
If you then decide to sign up for a block of sessions you simply select the training package that you require and we start training! When we start training together I am also happy to provide you with an exercise plan that you can follow on the days that we don’t meet or whilst you are away on business or holiday (at no extra charge)
On average I work with a client anywhere from 3 months to a year (sometimes longer). With specific weight loss goals I tend to work with clients 2-3 times a week for the first few months, then, when they have reached their goal I may see them once a week/fortnight/month to help them maintain. It really depends on your personal goals, commitments and motivation.
Prior to meeting with clients I ask them to fill out a food diary for a few days before we meet, as many people need to address their diets in order to get the results that they want to see. I email through a nutrition plan 1-2 days following our first meeting tailored specifically to their individual requirements. I am always on-hand should you need support or advice on your nutrition or exercise plan.
I train outside and use the parks and open spaces available and also use clients’ homes and gardens, depending on their preferred location. I make the sessions fun and varied as well as challenging and use a variety of exercise equipment and training styles.
